Zara

Top - Zara
Trousers - Zara
Shoes - Topshop

I prepared this post last night because I'm working this morning and then meeting up with a few friends for lunch then some shopping, can't wait! This is the outfit that I'm going to wear to the pub tonight it isn't overly dressy but that's what I like. I like to feel comfortable when I go out because then it makes dancing a whole lot easier. I don't have any jewellery on with this outfit but I will bling it up a bit later probably with a watch, bracelet and earrings.

This is my Zara top that I blogged about the other day. I really like it with these trousers, it makes the outfit look a little bit dressier. I don't wear these trousers very often because they make me look quite hippy but the colour of them is quite cool. As soon as the wedged high tops starting making an appearance in magazines I just had to get them. I do that quite a bit I impulse buy and then regret it. I bought them in Topshop before christmas and they only had them in tan and navy but now there are so many different ones out and I don't like my tan ones so much. I'm going to keep wearing them though because I know they still look good it's just all in my head!

Hope everyone is having a lovely Saturday even though the weather is absolutely horrible.

Calm before the storm

Jacket - American Apparrel
Top - Topshop
Leggings - Primark
Shoes - Schuh
Sunglasses - Topshop

I wanted to take these photos outside just for a change of scenery however the weather was so horrendous that it made it difficult. The sun came out for about 30 mins and out I ran to pose!

I didn't think leggings were my thing but I've sort of grown to like them. I picked up a few pairs in Primark the other day for only £3. A long top is always necessary over leggings, I think I'm cutting it a bit fine here, I need to go and buy a few long t-shirts. This jacket is actually my boyfriends but I always wear it because I like the baggy look sometimes and I thought it would go well over leggings.

This is my cat Tigger, he's 11 years old and so adorable. Everywhere I go he follows me so I thought it was only right he featured in one of my posts.

Stupid Foot!!!!

Top - Zara
Shorts - Topshop
Scarves - Cambridge market

I have been rambling on in my earlier posts about my personal training sessions well out of it I've managed to get an injury. It's an Achilles tendon injury, I don't want to bore you all but basically my leg has been strapped up with this hideous tape from my heel to the back of my knee. So for that reason I decided to post these pics on their own rather than on me!

I like this vest top because it has a meshy feel which I thought was quite 80s and it also has a slit up either side of it which I think is quite flattering because a lot of vest tops can bunch up at the bottom and make me look bigger from a side view but because this one is slit it will fall nicely over jeans or a long maxi skirt.

I have been looking for a nice pair of high waisted shorts for quite a while now but because of my annoying hockey legs I find it difficult to get a pair that are flattering. Topshop had so many pairs with lovely different patterns on the front and back but when I tried them on they didn't suit my shape. I find Topshop's sizing really strange. Sometimes I can be a size ten, normally I'm a 12 but on an odd occassion I have struggled to get into a size 14. Does anyone else have this problem? I found a cool pair that I really liked and tried them on in a 12, didnt fit so tried the 14 they also didnt fit eventually I got these ones in a 12 and they are slightly big but the 10 would have been too tight! strange!!

I love shopping in markets and Cambridge have one of the best ones that I've ever been to. I love the way you can get so many quirky wee things that you never see in the shops. One stall had these scarves in about 50 different colours. I hate when that happens because I always end up buying more than one, which is what happened. They were priced at two for five pounds but after a bit of haggling I managed to get him down to two for £3.50, such a bargain one of the other reasons I love markets!

Spotty

Dress - H&M
Scarf - Cambridge market
Shoes - Office
Watch - Fossil

So sorry folks for the same dress but I just love it! I wore this outfit on my last day in Cambridge but teamed it with a polka dot scarf mainly because I was so burnt under the scarf and I didn't want everyone seeing how silly I had been not to wear sun cream. I love high top trainers with shorts or dresses but sometimes think I'm a bit old to pull it off. I reckon it looks okay though, makes me feel like I'm sixteen again. I didn't buy too many clothes when I was away partly because I had no money and also I didn't really need anything. I'm going to take some pictures of what I bought tonight and blog about them tomorrow, so check that out.

Have to run I'm meant to be meeting a friend and I am very late...yikes!! Blogging is just too much fun.

London Baby!!

Dress - H&M
Leggings - H&M
Shoes - Office
Watch - Fossil
Earrings - New Look

This is just a quick post to show of some photos I took in London. It turned out to be such a warm lovely day. I wore this H&M dress because it is nice and light and the leggings under it because it is very short! I'm glad I didn't bear anymore skin because the parts I did show got very burnt.

Tonight I'm heading to a fundraiser for my hockey club. I'm on a team of ten people competing on It's a Knockout. The games include Rodeo Bull, Demolition, Hamster Wheel, Rock & Roll, Human Table Football etc. I'm sure I will be going home injured but I'll let you know how I get on. Hope everyone is having a lovely weekend, even though the weather is a bit pants!

little red car

Shirt - Topshop
Vest top - H&M
Jeans - Hollister
Shoes - Office
Watch - Fossil
Bracelet - Boutique in Portstewart

Sorry that this post is very late, I was in Cambridge and London for a few days chilling out and had a fab time. This is what I wore on the plane. For years I have checked out other women in the airport because of their cool, yet comfy and casual airport clothing. I always seem to get it wrong by wearing too many clothes and then having to strip of at security and try and juggle my clothes in one hand and hand luggage in the other. Then at the last minute the man at security looks at my converse boots and tells me to take them off and pop them in the tray please, oh and we need your belt too!! By this stage I am all hot and bothered and need my deodorant wipes!! So this time I decided to wear my hollister jeans that are snug enough without wearing a belt, a loose vest top and shirt that doesn't need to be taking off and placed in the tray and a pair of trainers that are very easy to slip on and off. I think I got it right this time however I won't throw out the wipes just yet!

When my boyfriend and I were walking around Cambridge on Sunday we came across this cool retro BMW. I think it was from the 1940s or 1950s but how different does it look to the BMW's that are around today?

Appropriate Attire

Cardigan - H&M
T-Shirt - Converse strore in New York
Skirt - H&M
Trainers - Office
Nails - By Joanne Symington (Gel Polish)

When I woke up this morning and opened the curtains the sun was shining and the weather looked so promising, however as the day went on it got more windy and a lot more dull and eventually it poured out of the heavens. So looking back now my outfit wasn't very appropriate!

I love wearing high tops with skirts although sometimes if the skirt or shorts cut your leg at the wrong length then it can make your leg look short and fat, I hope I've got it right! I just went for a casual look on top with a plain t-shirt and simple cardigan since I didn't have anywhere really to be today. Please excuse the sock lines on my legs I got a bit nippy earlier on.

P.s my waffle berry pie went down a treat, will have to make it again soon.

Locked out

Jacket - H&M
Jeans - Hollister
Shoes - Asos

This outfit was really worn last night but I didn't get to post it because I got locked out of my house and only got in on time to watch the final episode of Greys Anatomy, which was so sad!! I had just arrived home from my personal training session and I had my night all planned. I was going to post my pics, get a sneaky McDonalds and then watch Greys. However when I went to open the kitchen door the lock on it had got jammed. As much as I pushed and pulled at the door I could not get it open. I tried every key that I could find to open it but none of them would work. So after an hour and a half of walking backwards and forwards  but getting no further I decided to go and get the ladders and climb in the one window that was open. My house is at least 30 feet high and this was an upstairs window and I hate heights so all in all this wasn't a great idea. To my amazement I successfully climbed through the window and got the door open. I haven't closed the kitchen door since for fear of having to climb another ladder.

After this post I am going to make Waffle berry pie. My baking skills aren't great although I have made this before and it turned out okay so fingers crossed! I will let you know how I got on in tomorrow.
