I had to blog this cool tee I got in Topshop last week.  As soon as I saw it I just had to get it for a few reasons. Firstly the word Geek is the new cool lol, secondly the colour is very much 'in' for Autumn and last but not least it is a great funky tee to wear if your having a fight day because it is nice and long and also slightly  baggy but fitted if that makes sense! I suggest you all should go to Topshop and try it on for yourselves, it is an all round winner!

I've just realised that practically everything I'm wearing here is from Topshop.  I got this vest top yesterday I just wanted something casual to wear with these black jeans and this is loose and easy to wear and is also longer at the back which is a bonus because they seem to be making jeans sit lower on my waist these days. I think this bracelet jazzes up an outfit well and was only seven pounds on Asos and the necklace was on sale in  Topshop for only two pounds, bargain! Topshop have a really good sale on at the moment on all costume jewellery so i'll probably splash out on a few more bits and pieces.

I have been so bad at blogging lately and I hate not blogging it's just that I have two jobs on the go at the moment and hockey season has started back so I am slightly tight for time.  I wore this outfit yesterday evening when I went for a casual dinner with my friend. I know I've blogged this jacket quite a lot but I love it so I wear it with everything, quite literally! These trainers were picked because of their vibrant colour, I like to stand out lol!

I can't believe how dark it has got in the evenings, I 'm starting to get depressed already thinking about the winter, ah-well I'm just going to have to embrace it!

I bought these converse nearly three years ago but forgot all about them and I pulled them out of the back of my wardrobe today! I must have at least seven pairs of converse and I am on the look out for a new pair, I think I'm just a tad obsessed! These ones look like two shoes in one because they are maroon on the outside and the inner lining is grey, I'm not sure if you can still get them because I think they were only out for a short time.

So sorry for the bad quality of my photos lately I have been taking them with my phone and they haven't been coming out to clearly.

What's everyone up to this weekend? The past four or five weekends I have been really busy with something on every Friday and Saturday night but this weekend I have nothing and I have to say I was looking forward to it but now that it is here I'm kinda bored and wish I was doing something! Isn't that always the way? I might go shopping tomorrow or Sunday because I haven't bought anything new in a long time and just feel like a little pick me up.

Last night my family held a big surprise party for three members of our family circle because they all turned 30 this year! Everyone had a really brilliant night but because of all the panic of everything I left my camera inside and didn't get to take one photo of the whole night! I was really looking forward to sharing some photos on my blog of everyone having fun and also the great food that was on display.

So all I have left to give is the outfit I am wearing today. I was in a real rush this morning because I had to go to work quite early unfortunately.  I got this black top in Topshop last week, I actually got three of them one in white and grey also. I really love them because as I'm sure you all know I don't like clingy clothes and this top just hangs nicely and can be worn either as casual or dressy. I wore the white one last week to a dressier event with black wax coated jeans from Zara and heels and a nice blazer. I haven't actually got round to putting that outfit up but I will soon, I'm saving it for a day that I don't have anything prepared.

I just put this shirt on incase it was colder outside than what I thought. These jeans are a dark denim and I like the whole denim with denim look so that's why I choose this shirt. It does actually have a collar but it was too early in the morning for me to dress myself properly!!

Burst of colour

Today was so warm and sticky that I wanted to wear something loose and comfy. I got this t-shirt a month or two ago in Hollister but it is actually quite short so I have struggled to wear it with trousers because it shows of half my midrif! These cords are about three years old and I got them in Zara's Edinburgh store. They can be worn quite high waisted because they are a little big so they were the perfect match for the tee! I love these trousers because they are nice and baggy but still have a straight leg and because of that they look good either with heels or trainers. These boots just give the outfit that burst of colour that it needs even if they are a size too small and I can't wear them any longer than a few hours because my feet are so squashed in them........ahwell!

I think we should all cross our fingers and toes and hope this lovely weather continues for another few days...or even weeks!

This is just a quick post before heading over to my boyfriends house for a bbq. I bought these leigh jeans about 3 years ago but never liked them on me as jeans so thought I should get use out of them some other way. I think they look cool cut up and I like the fitted shorts look because most denim shorts I go to buy especially this length would be baggy and they make me look stumpy! My friend brought me home this bracelet from Spain and I love it, I don't think I have took it off since getting it. I just love all the different colours and there is a wee heart shape on the back of it that is very sweet.

I wore this outfit to a table quiz on Saturday night. This shirt is actually my boyfriends but I love boyfriend fit clothes and I thought I might aswell wear his instead of buying one plus I love all these colours. When I went to get a vest top to wear under the shirt it proved a bit of a problem because I think I don't suit white unless I have sun shimmer on. Black can also be a bad colour on me if I don't have tan on I think I am too pale for black. So this was the only top I had that went with the shirt and jeans, I got it in Zara a few weeks ago and
I also got it in red too, I love them because they are so light and easy to wear, I don't like clothes that cling to me too much. I don't think I have ever blogged these jeans before, I got them when I was in New York. They stretched a bit at first but they seem to have done all their stretching and now fit fine.

I set out only to wear this dress and my converse today but then when I put it on it looked very short, I think it has shrunk in the wash! So I teamed it with leggings and the grey ones were the only pair I could find. Then I thought it would be cold outside so I put this shirt on but realised it didn't really go so decided to cover it up with my cool Zara jacket. It all looks quite mismatched but that's why I like it.....

I had planned today to get up and go for a long cycle but that went by the way side when I didn't get in last night until half two! So my boyfriend and I just watched the formula one and le Tour de France ( Well done Bradley Wiggons btw) and ate junk all day, sure what else would you do on a Sunday? 

I think this outfit looks very American prep school like with the converse high tops and rolled up jeans. I love high tops but I think they can make my leg look too short so I tie them to make them look as though I'm only wearing the normal trainers. I rolled my jeans up so that they just sit neatly on top of the converse because I like people to know that they are high tops. Okay I need to stop talking about high tops. I really love the different colours in this cardigan but it is so itchy and I can only wear it with a long sleeved top under it.

I wore this outfit to the pub last Thursday night. It does look pretty casual but I really like it. I thought since I had done all my personal training I might aswell show off my new toned arms lol! Although when I look in the mirror I feel a lot more toned than what I look in these photos. Isn't that always the way? My mind is playing tricks! I got this top in Zara for only £7 and I really love it because it is a nice length and I like the way it is cut under the arms. It also comes in white and lilac. These converse are about six years old but I don't think I will ever stop wearing them. I have bought so many other colours of converse shoes and just other shoes in general but I keep resorting back to these ones. They are my all time fav!

Sorry about the quality of these photos the colour isn't that great,I had to take them with my phone because when my brother is away he hides his camera because he thinks I don't know how to use it,even though it is very straight forward...brotherly love eh! 

I've got to the stage where every time I look at my outfit posts I think my clothes are so boring, does anyone else get that? I want some new bits and pieces that I can mix and match with older clothes. I never was one for buying a whole new outfit I try to just buy a top and put it together with jeans, trousers, shorts etc because I find it hard to buy nice jeans or trousers that suit me so when I do eventually get a pair I tend to keep them for a long time! 

This t-shirt is mens, I just got it because I loved the colour and it was reduced to £10 so I thought it was a bit of a bargain. I thought maybe it would go over leggings but it is too tight looking when I pull it down so I'm just going to wear it as a normal tee. I'm a bit weird with the whole sleeves rolled up look but I think I do it because I'm conscious of my broad shoulders and when the sleeves are rolled up it makes them look narrower, at least I hope it does!
