I bought these converse nearly three years ago but forgot all about them and I pulled them out of the back of my wardrobe today! I must have at least seven pairs of converse and I am on the look out for a new pair, I think I'm just a tad obsessed! These ones look like two shoes in one because they are maroon on the outside and the inner lining is grey, I'm not sure if you can still get them because I think they were only out for a short time.

So sorry for the bad quality of my photos lately I have been taking them with my phone and they haven't been coming out to clearly.

What's everyone up to this weekend? The past four or five weekends I have been really busy with something on every Friday and Saturday night but this weekend I have nothing and I have to say I was looking forward to it but now that it is here I'm kinda bored and wish I was doing something! Isn't that always the way? I might go shopping tomorrow or Sunday because I haven't bought anything new in a long time and just feel like a little pick me up.

Last night my family held a big surprise party for three members of our family circle because they all turned 30 this year! Everyone had a really brilliant night but because of all the panic of everything I left my camera inside and didn't get to take one photo of the whole night! I was really looking forward to sharing some photos on my blog of everyone having fun and also the great food that was on display.

So all I have left to give is the outfit I am wearing today. I was in a real rush this morning because I had to go to work quite early unfortunately.  I got this black top in Topshop last week, I actually got three of them one in white and grey also. I really love them because as I'm sure you all know I don't like clingy clothes and this top just hangs nicely and can be worn either as casual or dressy. I wore the white one last week to a dressier event with black wax coated jeans from Zara and heels and a nice blazer. I haven't actually got round to putting that outfit up but I will soon, I'm saving it for a day that I don't have anything prepared.

I just put this shirt on incase it was colder outside than what I thought. These jeans are a dark denim and I like the whole denim with denim look so that's why I choose this shirt. It does actually have a collar but it was too early in the morning for me to dress myself properly!!

Burst of colour

Today was so warm and sticky that I wanted to wear something loose and comfy. I got this t-shirt a month or two ago in Hollister but it is actually quite short so I have struggled to wear it with trousers because it shows of half my midrif! These cords are about three years old and I got them in Zara's Edinburgh store. They can be worn quite high waisted because they are a little big so they were the perfect match for the tee! I love these trousers because they are nice and baggy but still have a straight leg and because of that they look good either with heels or trainers. These boots just give the outfit that burst of colour that it needs even if they are a size too small and I can't wear them any longer than a few hours because my feet are so squashed in them........ahwell!

I think we should all cross our fingers and toes and hope this lovely weather continues for another few days...or even weeks!

I wore this outfit to a table quiz on Saturday night. This shirt is actually my boyfriends but I love boyfriend fit clothes and I thought I might aswell wear his instead of buying one plus I love all these colours. When I went to get a vest top to wear under the shirt it proved a bit of a problem because I think I don't suit white unless I have sun shimmer on. Black can also be a bad colour on me if I don't have tan on I think I am too pale for black. So this was the only top I had that went with the shirt and jeans, I got it in Zara a few weeks ago and
I also got it in red too, I love them because they are so light and easy to wear, I don't like clothes that cling to me too much. I don't think I have ever blogged these jeans before, I got them when I was in New York. They stretched a bit at first but they seem to have done all their stretching and now fit fine.

I wore this outfit to the pub last Thursday night. It does look pretty casual but I really like it. I thought since I had done all my personal training I might aswell show off my new toned arms lol! Although when I look in the mirror I feel a lot more toned than what I look in these photos. Isn't that always the way? My mind is playing tricks! I got this top in Zara for only £7 and I really love it because it is a nice length and I like the way it is cut under the arms. It also comes in white and lilac. These converse are about six years old but I don't think I will ever stop wearing them. I have bought so many other colours of converse shoes and just other shoes in general but I keep resorting back to these ones. They are my all time fav!

So this is the second jacket I bought from Zara on line and I love it. Like I said I usually don't wear jackets like this and I honestly don't know why because they are such a handy piece of clothing to wear and completes the look of so many outfits. I'm wearing a size small but I cant actually button it which probably is a bit stupid but I thought I wouldn't button it very often anyway because then I would feel too claustrophobic.

I absolutely love brogues and these are my fav pair. I'm not sure if I have blogged about them before I don't think I have. I used to wear them with everything so they are pretty worn, which is probably a better look anyway but over the past couple of months I've just been wearing my vans so the brogues got rejected to the back of the shoe pile but have now managed to make an appearance again! 

It's so nice to be off work for a couple of days, hope everyone that is off enjoys themselves and has a lovely break. Fingers crossed for some sunshine!

Zara part 1

I feel like I haven't blogged in ages I think it was because my outfits over the past week have consisted of hoodies, shorts and tracksuit bottoms! I got this jacket from Zara last week over the internet, I had tried it on in store in a medium and I thought it was a bit big but they didn't have a small so I got it on line. I really like it because of the two different colours and it's also quite light on. I don't usually wear jackets I'm more of a loose, soft zip up hoodie kinda girl but this one won me over.

I already have a pair of jeans similar to these ones except they are baggy from the top of the leg to the bottom, whereas these are boyfriend fit with a straight leg. I've wanted a pair of these for a while now because I can wear them casual during the day with my converse or with a vest top and heels in the evening and a nice up hair do with funky earrings. 

Of course when I ordered this jacket from Zara there were so many other things that I saw and had to get, so I did lol! I got another jacket that I love, I'm very much into my jackets these days.....I'm sure this phase wont last very long.
